i can't wait to go to school and then graduate and then work doing rescuing and conservation of africas big five.
and things like this video :
make me even more excited.
(fyi: video is of two men who rescued a lion cub, released the lion into the wild, and a year later this is them reuniting)

i just wish that i hadn't wasted 2 years thinking that i wanted to be a photography major and going to school for that. i love photography, but i'd rather be 1:1 with the subjects i love then blending into the background and photographing them.
(this is not me saying that i won't continue with my photography, this just means that when i get a 'real' job i'll be able to be 10x closer to subjects in a 'real life' manner then if i was simply only a photographer in their space to document them.)
so yeah. suck on that for a while :-D

in 3 hours i won't be a teenage anymore! weird! hopefully my mom will do my laundry as a present. haha. speaking of gifts... i got a new northface jacket and i'm getting a new set of tires for my car. woo birthday
and montreal trip is a bust so tom's friends are opening up their house for me to have a birthday party! which is super nice of them because i've never even met them.. ha.
and going to see murder by death on the 21st. this makes me ecstatic.
andddd i transfered to a new house at work and i love it. my coworkers are awesome and the people i support are awesome and my schedule is awesome and i'm having a really good time there.
everything is falling into place and that makes me happy. |
